Materials Designed for Each Level

These guides will walk you through the basics of different arguments and parts of debate in the Atlanta Urban Debate League. While debate can be intimidating, these resources are here to answer any questions that you may have.

As division guidelines have changed over time, different skills and arguments have become available at different points. You can think of these guides as focusing on information for beginning, experienced, and advanced debaters more than hard guidelines for the Novice, JV, and Varsity divisions specifically.
