Instructional Resources - Packet Argument Breakdowns
These are slide decks explaining different arguments, organized by where they appear in the evidence packets. Each file is a PDF printout that includes both the slides and slide notes. The notes for the first page/slide of each one includes two links:
Editable Canva template - for anyone with a Canva account (which can be created for free), this link can be used to download a copy of the slide deck into Canva account to edit freely
Web presentation - this takes you to the Canva website to present the slides directly (cannot be edited)
2025 Demo Debates - OTEC Packet
The beginner video uses the middle school Novice version of the packet. The advanced video uses both advantages and disadvantages; it is suitable for experienced middle school debaters and all high school debaters. Both versions copy the language used in the “workbook” version of the packets.
